Winter is very cruel for paralyzed people.
It seems that my entire body below the shoulder would be stored in a refrigerator. That's how I feel cold and frozen. Because of more spasticity, even male therapists find it difficult to move my legs. Frozen muscles do not soften evenly, sometimes I feel and imagine tearing at the edge when the therapist flexes my legs.
The movement therefore decreases, the blood does not circulate strongly to the fingers and toes, and a slight swelling in the feet appears and disappears from time to time. The reflex tightening of my 'ham string' muscle continues. In the long run, toe swelling and hamstring strain will certainly cause a problem that is difficult to treat. Active and continuous massage could alleviate both, but waking up the tired sleeping caregiver is not very appropriate, as it will increase the risk of an accident due to sleepyness during complicated nursing activity.
To see the date on an iPhone, you have to swipe the screen down from the top left edge. I cannot do this without causing pain in the ham-string. That is why it is difficult for me to know the date and day-passing. Mindlessly watching YouTube is the only means of soothing my tightened hamstring. That's how time passes. I go to the roof-top garden every day. And that is prevented by the winter cold.

I decided to buy stock shares of a Canadian company that is developing a new medical drug. Since the Canadian stock market is not directly connected to Korea, I asked an investment agent to buy for me. For several months, I was worrying if my dream would fall apart, because the directing board of this small company had changed at the end of 2022 and lasted for a few months with interim board members. But now it seems that a new board has settled in and they have started the 2nd phase of the FDA approval exam without any problems. If successful, I will earn enough money for the new medicine. It will be a doubly good thing. Let's hope to receive good news next year.
